Mendicino, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced an innovative pathway to permanent residence for over 90,000 essential workers and international graduates who possess the skills and experience to fight the pandemic and accelerate Canada’s economic recovery.
What are the new temporary pathways to permanent residency?

International Students Permanent Residency Pathways completed program no earlier than January 2017:
Candidates for all six pathways must be in Canada with valid temporary resident status and be physically present in Canada when the application for permanent residence is received and when the application is approved and intends to reside in a province or territory other than Quebec.
